Fireworks

One minute we are worrying about our dogs in the extreme heat then we seem to have pressed fast forward to firework month. Which I imagine is the bane of most pet owners and does a lot of damage to the local wildlife.

Rosie has developed a chronic fear of fireworks since she was ten, she is now eleven and has taken to completely shaking not just with fireworks but other loud bangs she hears during this month. We try to alleviate this by of course comforting her , playing loud music and using the plugin with Feliway which was vet recommended . This year we also tried Pooch & Mutt calming treats which have hemp in them which also helps. You can try a free sample which is a great idea. What other ideas do you have for helping your pets?
